| The Kentuckiana Digital Library (KDL) is a large-scale, cooperative project that brings together rare and unique col ections from a large number of Kentucky libraries, archives, and historical and cultural institutions. As an important project of the National Science Digital Library (NSDL) system, KDL offers free, online access to a wealth of digitized resources of immense value to scholars, researchers, and anyone with an interest in the region's history and culture. This paper provides an overview of the Kentuckiana Digital Library's resources organization, technology features, and service characteristics. The authors' comments and suggestions are also given. |
